Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Divine Timing ("Divine Timing," "we," "us") handles information in the Divine Timing iOS app (the "App"). We built Divine Timing to be private by design: the most personal thing you give us — your birth details — never leaves your device.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- Your birth date, birth time, wishes, and selected themes stay on your device. They are stored locally and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.
- We use a small number of third-party tools strictly to run the App (push, analytics, purchases, and the "Ask the Universe" reading feature).
Information that stays on your device
Your birth date and optional birth time, the wish you write during onboarding, your selected situation themes, your reading history, and your streak are stored only in the App on your device. Your astrological chart and timing windows are computed locally. This information is not sent to our servers and we have no access to it.
Information processed by our service providers
To operate the App, we rely on the following third parties. Each receives only what is needed for its function:
Readings ("Ask the Universe")
When you request a reading, your typed question and a small derived context — your sun sign and (if known) moon sign, your selected themes, and the current moon phase — are sent over an encrypted connection to our processing endpoint (hosted on Cloudflare) and then to Google's Gemini API, which generates the response. Your birth date and time are never sent — only the derived sign. We do not store your questions on our servers; Google may process them per its API terms.
Analytics — PostHog
We use PostHog to understand how the App is used (screens opened, features tapped) so we can improve it. This is tied to an anonymous, app-generated identifier — not your identity. Analytics is on by default and can be turned off anytime in Settings. Optional session replay is off by default (opt-in), and text inputs are masked when it is on.
Push notifications — OneSignal
If you enable notifications, OneSignal processes a device-level push identifier to deliver them. You can disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings.
Purchases — RevenueCat & Apple
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate your subscription status via an anonymous app user identifier. We never receive your payment card or billing details — Apple handles all payment information.
Why we process this data
We process the limited data above to provide and secure the App's features (app functionality) and to understand and improve the product (analytics). We do not use any of it for advertising or tracking.
Data retention
On-device data remains until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Provider data is retained per each provider's policy for as long as needed to deliver its function. You can clear your reading history at any time within the App.
Children
Divine Timing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will address it.
Your choices & rights
- Turn analytics off, and keep session replay off, in Settings.
- Disable push notifications in iOS Settings.
- Clear your reading history in the App, or uninstall to remove all on-device data.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have rights to access or delete data held about you. Email us and we will help.
Security
All network requests use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Because your most sensitive inputs stay on your device, the risk surface is intentionally small.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
